A cross-curricular STEM class kit for 30 pupils to each design and make a model house with a working doorbell and light. Pupils will learn about simple series circuits including cells, wires, bulbs, switches and buzzers, and apply their knowledge to construct a working model. The pupils will make their house from a cardboard box including door, windows and roof. They will construct a buzzer circuit with a push-to-make switch and use this for the doorbell, and a switched lamp circuit to use as the light. And finally, pupils can decorate and create figures to populate their houses.
